Commenting on ratification of Armenian-Turkish protocols, Mr. Giragosian noted that Turkey does not know when it will ratify the documents. According to him, the Turkish parliament will likely try to delay ratification until February-March 2010 in order to link the ratification process to April 24 and thereby put pressure on the United States to prevent recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
