Yerevan launches Burning Charcoal student festivalDecember 16, 2009 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Burning Charcoal 3-day student festival organized by State Art Academy student council was launched in Yerevan yesterday, December 15. Students' artworks: pictures, sketches, sculptures, photographs and designer collections were featured at the opening ceremony. According to the founder of the festival, artist Margarita Sirekanyan, the project is not an end in itself, but a form of art development. The festival will last till December 17, when jury composed of honored Armenian art workers will announce the winners' names.
