NUMBER OF CASINOS IN ARMENIA INCREASING

PanARMENIAN.Net - Since the beginning of this year the number of gambling houses in Armenia has tripled and is constantly increasing so far. Head of the Armenian ministry of economy and finances department for lottery and gambling issues Manuk Vardanian told "Arminfo" agency. In his words, by the end of last year, when according to the law all the gambling houses were brought outside Armenian cities and inhabited locations, there existed only 5 casinos in the republic, now however there are 15 acting ones. M. Vardanian emphasized that the entry to state budget from the gambling business comprises approximately 1%.
