The Website
We, at PanARMENIAN Media are excited to announce the launch of our brand new photography website. We’ve been working on it for couple of months already, after our previous hosting provider’s server didn’t survive the overload and died (the server!). However we would like to thank all our visitors who caused it, because we have finally developed an entirely new one, with much better usability and stability.
If you were following us before, you might remember our photo.panarmenian.net website with photowire and photobank sections and the photoblog at blog.panarmenian.net/photo. Now these two have been merged into a big photography website. It now contains information also on our Photo Agency and its services.
You may start browsing the three main sections – Photowire, Photoblog, Projects and navigate with the tag cloud or calendar. Don’t hesitate to use the search as well.
All photo stories can be commented on and shared in social media. We appreciate any kind of feedback.
Here are some of the features we think you might like.
Photo/wire
On Photowire you can find our daily reports on events happening in the country (and sometimes beyond it). Each story consists of several selected images that are part of bigger photo sets. They might be useful for editorials of newspapers, magazines and news websites covering recent events in the country.
The stories are divided in categories, just like our news website. You can find reports on the events in politics, economy, culture, society, sport and IT/telecom.
Photo/blog
Photoblog is our unique viewpoint on the events in the country. It contains selected images that we consider *interesting*, sometimes they are fun, sometimes even shocking. It will also feature our photo shoots, sometimes really exclusive, with various personalities.
Photo/projects
Apart from covering the current events, we very much much enjoy making photo stories on various topics and happenings. It’s no more news photography but more like creative photo sets and projects.
By the time of the launch, we have tried to make sure everything works fine and there are no technical problems, however the website is released on “beta” and if you notice any technical bug, please report it to us at photo[at]panarmenian.net.
