Gevorg Dabagyan will give duduk lessons to Venetians

PanARMENIAN.Net - On Mar 21-22 Gevorg Dabagyan will be giving duduk lessons in the department of Studies and Documentation Centre of Armenian

Culture at Intercultural Institute of Comparative Music Studies in Venice.



Gevorg Dabaghian a founder of a number of folk music groups, including Shokgakn, ethnic Armenian music performers.



In 2005 the duduk (or dziranapogh in Armenian) was decreed a masterpiece representing the Armenian musical tradition in the UNESCO "Programme of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity".
