Youth State Orchestra of Armenia cancels Tehran concertsJune 29, 2009 - 22:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The concert by the Youth State Orchestra of Armenia at Tehran's Vahdat Hall scheduled for July 1 to 3 has been cancelled, MNA reported.The officials of the Youth State Orchestra of Armenia decided to cancel the concert due to the unrest in the aftermath of the June 12 presidential election, the organizer of the concert said. The orchestra was to be led by its chief conductor and artistic director Sergey Smbatyan. Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto no. 1 was to be performed by the Iranian member of the orchestra Mahyar Moradi.
