Interactive forum-theater arouse great interest of Armenian youth

PanARMENIAN.Net -  Interactive art festival successfully passed September 22 to 25 in Yerevan. During four days the interactive forum aroused great interest among the youth. Groups from Armenia, Georgia and Turkey have staged performances about political, social and moral problems of society at the Puppet Theater after Tumanyan.  

 

The interactive theater was established in 1970 by the Brazilian director and political activist Augusto Boali and it involves active discussion and participation of the audience in the highlighted problem.  

 

The Armenian theatrical group "Theater of change" staged a performance of "Canons of Honor". The young took an active part in the discussion.  

 

Turkish theater group "Tiyatro Boyali Kus" raised the problem of women's rights in the society.  

 

A group from Georgia presented a performance about relationship of the three nations: Armenians, Azerbaijanis and Georgians.  

 

On September 25 the Armenian theatrical group "Theater of change" performed "Deadlock in the high seas" play, which addressed the issue of the Armenian-Turkish relations.  

 

In the framework of the festival master-classes of Karin Chapman Clark, expert on interactive forum theater was also organized in Armenia.
