Nizhny Novgorod hosts International Stroganoff Festival of designers from CIS

PanARMENIAN.Net - International Stroganoff Festival of designers CIS member states opened on Thursday in Nizhny Novgorod. Works of about 300 students and graduates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine are presented at the qualifying stage of the festival.



The festival is organized by the Union of Designers International Association, Russian Academy of Arts, with support Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of CIS member states.



As the press secretary of Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of CIS member-states, Alexander Kalugin told a PanARMENIAN.Net one of the purposes of the festival is to promote a common cultural space in the Commonwealth. The results of the qualifying round will be summarized on Friday, September 23. The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates of the festival will be held on November 26 in Moscow.
