Turkey might be sued for usage of “Golden Apricot” brand name

PanARMENIAN.Net - Golden Apricot international film festival center announced that the movie festival held since 2004 in Yerevan has no pertaining to the event due in Turkish city of Malatya. “Upon receiving detail information, we will file a claim against Turkey for unauthorized usage of “Golden Apricot” brand name,” film festival center said in its statement.

August 20 edition of Milliyet Turkish newspaper featured information on Golden Apricot international festival due November 26-December 2 in Malatia. In conclusion the article said Golden Apricot festival is also held in Yerevan.
