Aghasi Ayvazyan Theater Festival launched in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aghasi Ayvazyan Theater Festival was launched for the first time in Yerevan, featuring 12 performances drawing on the playwright’s works.

“The festival is a wonderful opportunity to pay homage to the great Armenian writer and playwright. I hope the level of performances will be up to the name of the great Ayvazyan,” Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan cited the message of the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan timed to festival opening ceremony.

The Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan and Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan also addressed their congratulatory messages to festival organizers.
