University of Maryland concert to feature Armenian dances

PanARMENIAN.Net - University of Maryland, Baltimore, will host a pops concert on Friday, May 6.

The school’s University Band, Wind Ensemble and Maryland Community Band team up for this annual performance, which focuses this year on dance tunes. The program includes pieces from “Fiddler on the Roof” and Leonard Bernstein’s “Danzon” from “Fancy Free,” as well as folk, Scottish and Armenian dances, The Washington Post reported.
