Recently the military authorities of Armenia received an official invitation to participate in the "Cooperative Best Effort 2004" maneuvers planned for September 2004 to be held in Azerbaijan within the frames of the NATO "Partnership for Peace" program. The document was delivered personally to the Minister of defense Serzh Sarkissian who was in the General Headquarters of the Operations of the North-Atlantic Alliance. He confirmed the readiness of the official Yerevan to delegate its representatives to Baku. In Azerbaijan they were not very happy with this fact.
