The overwhelming majority of the Armenian population does not in reality picture Turkey, which has recently been the topic of discussion of nearly everyone. Unfortunately, the neighboring country is perceived only in two colors, black and white, despite the fact that many Armenians have been nowhere in this country except the summer resorts. Istanbul and even Ankara, of course, do not count; they are not the Turkey with which they want to reconcile us.

Thanks to Open Music Fest, people in Yerevan had the chance to enjoy Anna Mayilyan's soprano and Tatevik Baghdasaryan's flute accompanied by Armenia's National Chamber Orchestra (conductor: Aram Karabekyan).

The celebration of the dead and resurrected god dates back to the ancient Egyptian religion, when the Egyptians celebrated the death and resurrection of God Osiris. Present Christian Easter takes its origin from the Old Testament. The old Jews celebrated the Passover (Pesach) as the holiday of exodus of Jews from Egypt.

The impact of the world financial crisis on the Armenian economy and social state of people has already become perceptible, especially in the population employment sector. The alarm has already sounded for a number of employment agencies: employers' offers are decreasing in ratio with the increasing labor supply.
