The strange, to say the least, Turkish-Iranian "love" is gaining momentum. The other day Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz declared that Turkey is ready to reprocess uranium on its territory and send it to Iran. Along with earlier statements by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, claiming Iran's right of a nuclear weapons program, the watchful coolness in relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv leads to certain conclusions.

Armenian Delegation, led by RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is on a working visit to USA to participate in ArmTech 2009 business forum. According to the RA government press office, on November 5, Prime minister visited Stanford University, the Linear Accelerator Center SLAC, met with representatives of the Union of Armenian students of Stanford University.

Internal political life of Armenia in the past week began with a bit livened up discussions between a number of Armenian opposition parties and representatives of the coalition government. The theme for the dispute was two bills, submitted earlier by the political parties "Heritage" and ARF Dashnaktsutyun to Armenian MPs for examination. Representatives of the parties stated that they seek the inclusion in the agenda of the National Assembly of Armenia, the issue of recognizing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic independence and punishment for denying the Armenian Genocide.

A couple of years ago I had a chance of an interview with Robert Sahakyants and one could not assume at that time that he would leave the world so soon. We all knew he was ill, but no one suspected how serious the illness was. He was one of those without whom, in his opinion, everything would sink in sweet syrup. All that you'll read further are his direct words, as we thought no one could speak of Robert Sahakyants and the world surrounding him better than he himself. For some reason he always spoke Russian, although he knew his native language perfectly well.
