Police have opened fire on demonstrators in Djibouti, the Horn of Africa nation that hosts the only U.S. military base on the continent, according to the leader of an opposition party.
Elchin Alibeyli was reported to be dismissed from his position for performing a song Sari Gelin in Armenian, as a birthday present to a TV presenter Nana.
Aid for Azerbaijan would see a significant decrease, while aid for Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan would decrease only slightly from the budget proposed last year.
“Despite small territory and population, Armenia’s army is considered to be the most professional, efficient and competent in the region,” an article published in Zaman Turkish newspaper said.
A strange “discovery” made at Folklore Institute of Azerbaijan’s National Academy of Science, alleged over 400 modern Armenian family names to be of “Azerbaijani origin”.
