Wrestling: Olympic Games bronze winner, World Championship silver winner and European Champion Roman Amoyan (55kg) won gold medal and became the best wrestler of the tournament at the Grand Prix in Slovenia. Arthur Shahinyan (84kg) is also among the tournament winners. Chief Coach of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team, Olympic Games champion Levon Julfalakyan said that Armenian wrestlers participated successfully “Amoyan is among Armenia’s experienced sportsmen and displayed his best qualities at the tournament. The result of Vahan Juharyan (66kg), who won bronze, was good as well,” Julfalakyan said. European champion and World Championship silver winner Arsen Julfalakyan (74kg) also won bronze. According to the Chief Coach, Julfalakyan did not manage to qualify for the finals due to judges’ mistake.

In a week there will be another meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan with participation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. And for the umpteenth time, on the eve of the meeting there begin various kinds of speculations. Let us note at once that these speculations have nothing to do with the reality; in fact, they are intended to mislead the Armenian and Azerbaijani people.
