Millennium Challenge Compact Preparation Works to Be Finished in August 2006March 31, 2006 - 18:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The programs carried out within the Millennium Challenge Compact will allow to reduce poverty in Armenia with 6%, Armenian Minister of Finance and Economy Vardan Khachatryan stated at a press conference in Yerevan today. In his words, thanks to these programs the income of Armenian farmers will grow with 34% during next 6 years. According to the Minister, the funds provided by the Millennium Challenge Corporation will be spent on repair of 45% of the country roads.
