Poland comes forth with idea of allocating lax credit to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Director of the Department of International Bilateral Cooperation of the Polish Ministry of Economy Elzbieta Bodio said that Poland came forth with an idea of allocating a lax credit to Armenia.

“It is an idea, as we still need to discuss the possible credit’s terms,” Bodio told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter at the July 13 sitting of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission in Yerevan.

According to her, it is a historical day in the Armenian-Polish relations. Bodio attached importance to the fact that not only representatives of the state bodies, but also entrepreneurs of the two countries participate in the business forum.

The Polish delegation includes businessmen of various fields – energy, construction, medicine, tourism, etc.

“It should be noted that the Polish Airlines launched Yerevan-Warsaw-Yerevan flight on July 1, which will contribute to the development of trade and economic ties between the two countries,” said Bodio.

She added that representatives of two companies, which operate in the field of green technologies, arrived in Armenia to share their experience on water purification, ground clearance, waste treatment, etc.

“There are companies, which cooperate with Nairit Plant and purchase synthetic rubber, which is in great demand and complies with international requirements. The plant may enter the European market, and Polish companies are interested in upgrading the plant,” noted Bodio.

The sitting is co-chaired by RA Deputy Minister of Economy Mushegh Tumasyan and his Polish counterpart Marcin Korolec. A schedule and protocol of the first joint sitting of the Commission, as well as Memorandum on Food Security and Veterinary were signed following the sitting results.
