Iranian company to construct hydropower plant in Meghri

PanARMENIAN.Net - At September 16 sitting, the Armenian government ratified the offer on conclusion of a contract on construction of hydropower plant in Meghri jointly with Iranian company.

Upon completion of 5-year construction, the hydropower plant will be put in 15-year commission. After the term of operation is finalized, the plant will be returned to the Armenian party without indemnity.

“Conclusion of a contract will signify the start of an important investment program in Armenia,” Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated.
