9,073 carats of diamonds produced in Armenia in Jan-Feb 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 9,073 carats of diamonds were produced in Armenia in January-February 2011 against 7,740 carats during the same period in 2010 (17.2% growth).

According to the National Statistical Service, 54.9kg of jewelry was produced during the reporting period against 77.1kg in 2010. The slump in the industry was 28.8% in January-February 2011 compared to the same period in 2010.
