Armenian PM: we are going to launch direct air communication with China

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Li Changchun, Politburo Standing Committee Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

“We attach importance to the Armenian-Chinese relations and strongly believe that your visit will facilitate their development,” said Sargsyan.

For his part, Changchun expressed gratitude for a warm reception, as well as conveyed greetings of his Chenese counterpart Wen Jiabao.

According to Changchun, the Armenian-Chinese political relations are at a high level and should serve as a basis for boosting relations in other fields, the RA governmental press service reported.

A range of agreements on technical and economic cooperation between Armenia and China, as memorandums on cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Culture and Chinese General Administration of Press and Publication, as well as between Impulse radio station and China Radio International were signed after the meeting.

Besides, the parties agreed to launch a direct air communication between Armenia and China.
