Communication services become more affordable in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - 2% drop was recorded in tariffs for communication services in Armenia in January-April 2010, as compared with the same period of last year, the Armenian National Statistical Service told to PanARMENIAN.Net

According to the 2010 report of the International Union of Electronic Communications, the index of ICT price basket decreased by 3.05 points in 2009, totaling 4.94 against 7.98 in 2008.

Meanwhile, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated in April that Internet prices may drop in 2010, due to increase of competitiveness at this market.
