VivaCell-MTS may receive radio frequencies to construct LTE networkNovember 8, 2010 - 19:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS may receive radio frequencies in Yerevan and Armenian regions for LTE network construction. The relevant resolution will be discussed at November 10 sitting of Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC). The license for LTE network services stipulates for the company to start operations by March 1, 2011. The license, valid till November 4, 2019, will cost AMD 990 million. For the first time in CIS, LTE network was put into operation in Tashkent in the end of July 2010. A test launch of LTE mobile network technology in Ukraine and Armenia was scheduled by yearend.
