Arminco dial-up users number reduced by 16 times in Armenia compared to 2008

PanARMENIAN.Net - Arminco Technical Director Grigor Saghiyan said that the there are around 360 people using Arminco’s dial-up service in Armenia.

The number has reduced by 16 times compared to 2008, Saghiyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. However, the company is going to continue provision of dial-up communication.

“There are still people who prefer using dial-up. And we will continue providing these services, as long as we have at least one dial-up user,” he said.

Dial-up internet access is a form of Internet access that uses the facilities of the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to establish a dialed connection to an Internet service provider (ISP) via telephone lines.
