Nokia to offer free phone to its developersFebruary 21, 2011 - 16:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nokia has decided to offer its own developers a free phone when the company manufactures the first batch of Window Phone 7 handsets. The information was leaked to knowyourmobile.com after one of Nokia’s developers received an email saying: “In light of the strategy announcement made by Nokia and Microsoft last week, we are writing to you today to assure you that our commitment to you and your work to develop innovative apps for Nokia devices remains as strong as ever…” The free phone will apparently be a Nokia E7. Nokia earlier made a monumental decision to form a partnership with Microsoft. The company has ditched both Symbian and the controversial MeeGo in favour of Windows Phone 7. This particular decision has attracted criticism however, with many correspondents believing Nokia has made another mistake. They believe the company should have joined forces with Google and produced Android phones instead, sellmymobile.com reported.
