Paper says Yerkir’s editor resents ARFD

PanARMENIAN.Net - Zhoghovurd quotes its sources as saying that editor-in-chief of Yerkir paper, member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun party Bagrat Yesayan has quitted his position because he was not included in Dashnaktsutyun’s proportional list.

Currently Sevak Hakobyan is in charge of editor’s duties. Yesayan, however, refuted the rumor in a conversation with the paper’s reporter.

He informed that 14 months ago he was offered to undertake editor’s position, and he managed to run the paper properly throughout this period, after which he quitted. He reminded that he is not a reporter, but a historian by profession, and is engaging in his professional activities.

Dashnaktsutyun’s spokesman Spartak Seyranyan also mentioned that this incident has nothing to do with the party’s proportional list. Rumors say, however, that Seyranyan also bears grudge against Dashnaktsutyun.
