Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group Hovhannes Sahakyan said he is pleased with the position he occupies in the party’s electoral list.

“RPA candidates list is the product of long discussions and old Republicans are content with their positions,” Mr. Sahakyan said.

Underscoring the importance of the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia, the MP named them general rehearsal for the presidential race.

“They must serve as basis and guarantee for oncoming presidential elections,” Mr. Sahakyan said.

Hovhannes Sahakyan is placed 110th in RPA candidates list.
