Johnny Depp's "Dark Shadows" debuts new TV spot (video) March 26, 2012 - 18:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted a TV spot for Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows". The promotional video offers a few glimpses of new footage that are not featured in the first trailer. They include scenes where Johnny Depp's Barnabas Collins is seen sucking blood from a man's neck, finding McDonald's culture in 1972 shocking, and being left overwhelmed by Helena Bonham Carter's Dr. Julia Hoffman, AceShowbiz reported. Collins was once a powerful man, who is also the master of Collinwood Manor, before he makes a big mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard. She is apparently a vengeful witch who turns him into a vampire before burying him alive. Two centuries after his death, Collins is accidentally freed from his grave. The vampire then returns to his mansion only to find his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. He must now struggle to restore the glorious era of his family business. Based on a 1960s' Gothic soap opera, "Dark Shadows" is due to arrive in cinemas across the U.S. on May 11. Rounding up the cast ensemble are Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonny Lee Miller, Chloe Moretz and Jackie Earle Haley.
