Paper: Armenian voters seem to increase in number

Electoral commissions in all 41 constituencies of Armenia have numbered their polling stations on March 25. According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, the Central Electoral Committee has not published the total list of polling stations as of March 26.

However, some of constituencies recorded increase in the number of stations. In particular, as compared to parliamentary elections in 2007, the number of polling stations in the 7th constituency increased by 3, making 35 now, while the number of voters rose by approximately 5500.

The 8th constituency got additional 2 polling stations against 2007 making a total of 35, while the number of voters increased by 2000.

The daily assumes that police may publish the total list of Armenian voters on March 27, after which the situation will become clear.
