Details of the investment were not disclosed. Spaceport.io of a Burlingame, Calif. will use the capital to hire additional employees and to develop its HTML5 and Flash-compatible technology. The BBC Worldwide plans to use the technology to lower the cost of delivering HTML5 games and apps across iOS, Android and TVs.
