Facebook to let users download more account information

PanARMENIAN.Net - Facebook announced that it will soon offer more ways to see how much activity users have made on their account.

According to Neowin, a post on Facebook's privacy page outlines those plans to let users download more information about their account.

Facebook first allowed its users to download facts about their account in 2010, including what photos, posts, and messages they may have shared on the service along with a list of Facebook friends and chat conversations with those friends.

Facebook said, "Now you can access additional categories of information, including previous names, friend requests you've made and IP addresses you logged in from."

All of the new personal account information will be gradually rolled out to Facebook users via its Download Your Information feature, which is located in a person's Account Settings. The company didn't say how long it would take for these new features to be made available to all of its subscribers, although it did say that more categories of information would be offered to Facebook users sometime in the future.
