Armenian office of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) launched a new website www.armelections.info aiming to raise awareness and motivation among voters.

The website provides Armenian voters with important information about electoral processes ahead of the upcoming elections to the National Assembly on May 6. It comprises data on electoral processes (election campaign, procedures of voting and calculation of votes), registration of voters and alternation of voting lists, as well as information about the political parties, alliances and candidates.

IFES developed and placed on its website social ads and posters covering ways to check and change the voters’ lists, as well as the voting procedures. They also address procedures of filing appeals and their consideration in relevant electoral bodies.

The new website features an application which enables people to find out the political party or alliance which best fits their political preferences.
