First look at Boundurant brothers in "Lawless" moonshine dramaApril 16, 2012 - 20:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A first look at all three Boundurant brothers in John Hillcoat's "Lawless" (2012) has been uncovered. Coming out through the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the still features Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy and Jason Clarke on what looks like a pick-up truck while wearing period costumes complete with round hats, AceShowbiz reported. Shia's Jack Bondurant, who is the youngest of the siblings, is pictured holding the wheel on the driver seat. Sitting next to him is Tom's Forrest Bondurant. Standing on the back of the black vehicle, in the meantime, is Jason's Howard Bondurant. "Lawless" is adapted from a historical novel of the same name by Matt Bondurant. The film revolves around the three brothers who run a small-scale moonshining family business. They later find their bootlegging business under threat in Prohibition-era Franklin County, Virginia. The story is based on a true story of Matt's grandfather and great uncles. The moonshine drama was initially known as "The Wettest County". Producer Lucy Fisher once explained that the new title was given under permission of Terrence Malick, who also develops another film called "Lawless". "We'd always wanted the title 'Lawless' but it was always unavailable to us...," Lucy said before adding, "Terry very graciously gave us the go-ahead to use it. He gets a special thank you in the movie." Written by Nick Cave, Hillcoat's "Lawless" is due to arrive in the U.S. theaters on August 31. Joining Shia, Tom and Jason in the cast ensemble are such actors as Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, Mia Wasikowska and Jessica Chastain.
