Prosperous Armenia’s MP rebuffs inactivity claims

PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the Prosperous Armenia party, MP Tigran Stepanyan is again running for the parliament in the 16th constituency.

Zhoghovurd paper asked the candidate how many times he took the floor in the National Assembly, and what issues he has voiced in the parliament. To this, Stepanyan replied that he never spoke in the parliament and never asked to be given the floor.

He noted that a deputy's work is not limited to speeches in the National Assembly.

Stepanyan said he has come up with many legislative initiatives, as well as constantly participated in the meetings of the parliamentary standing committee on defense, national security and internal affairs.
