“Office” star Steve Carell poised to play in mafia comedy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Steve Carell could be starring in a new mafia comedy.

The former Office actor - who was on the run from the mob alongside Tina Fey in 2010 film Date Night - is in the frame to both star in and co-produce the as-yet-untitled movie, Belfast Telegraph reported citing Deadline.

Steve will share the screen with rising star Jake Johnson, who appears in hit US TV series New Girl.

No details are known about the film other than that it will centre on the mob.

The comedy will be drafted by Late Show with David Letterman writer, Rodney Rothman, and Max Winkler will direct.
