Former mayor of Yerevan, Gagik Beglaryan is trying to secure votes favoring the candidates running for parliament by majority system in the capital’s Kentron district, Hraparak paper reports.

Several days ago Beglaryan organized a party in Jos restaurant on the occasion of April 7, Motherhood and Beauty Day, bringing together representatives of educational, medical and other institutions under the city administration.

Ruben Sadoyan and Garegin Nushikyan, candidates nominated in Kentron district also attended the gathering.

Beglaryan’s mayor-like posture impressed the event participants more than the candidates’ presence, the paper says.
