One of the members of the protocol department of the Armenian Parliament has committed suicide in the National Assembly building. 45-year-old office worker Hasmik Abrahamian hang herself in the stairwell of the fourth floor by means of a rope. On April 26 her body was discovered by an officer of the security service of the Parliament, who was turning off the lights in the building. Before killing herself the woman left several messages, asking not to blame anyone in her death and not to institute criminal proceedings. H. Abrahamian was single and lived with her parents.
