Syunik governor initiates special meeting with his supporters - paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chorrord Ishkhanutyun paper reports that Syunik governor, member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Suren Khachatryan organized a special meeting in Syunik province.

He gathered his supporters and some rural mayors who have relatives in the town of Goris and instructed them to focus their forces in his native Goris.

Khachatryan explained that even a minor failure namely in Goris constituencies will result in his disgrace and even dismissal, according to Chorrord Ishkhanutyun.

Syunik governor urged his allies not to scorn any method to secure votes for him at the upcoming parliamentary elections. He went further to pledge a trip to Paris to those who work properly to secure his victory.

“I don’t care whether you oppose the government or the opposition. You must do your best,” he told his staff, the paper reports.
