Armenian Minister: stereotypes hinder modernization of cultural heritageApril 21, 2012 - 15:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Modernization of cultural heritage is being opposed in Armenia, Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan said on April 21. Speaking at the two-day UNESCO's “Cultural Policy and Policy for Culture: Culture and Development” conference organized in Matenadaran (the museum-institute of ancient manuscripts) in Yerevan, the Minister said the cultural heritage is treated in a conservative way in the country.
