Armenians in Jerusalem stage protest in front of Turkish embassy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Jerusalem hosted an event to commemorate the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenian community activist Ruben Nalbandian said that on April 24 morning they prayed for the repose of Armenian Genocide victims, followed by a protest action in front of the Turkish embassy in Jerusalem and a mourning event with French Armenians participating.

250-300 people including Jews and Arabs participated in the commemorative event. Yair Tzaban, Former Minister of Immigrant Absorption of Israel also addressed the event.
