BBC LAUNCHES KARABAKH WEB PAGE
The BBC World Service is launching a new web page to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the cease-fire in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The web page will open on bbcrussian.com on 12 May and will publish news and views of Russian-speakers in Armenia, Azerbaijan and around the world. Page visitors will have the opportunity to take part in weekly online discussions and exchange opinions on various aspects of the conflict settlement. The Karabakh Page is also a chance to find lost neighbors and old friends. The Karabakh Page is sponsored by the British NGO Conciliation Resources, as part of the Consortium Initiative - a new British Government funded program which aims to improve the opportunities for settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
