Economist: Armenian business takes no hazards during elections

Investment volume decrease is recorded during the pre-election period, head of Alternative research center said.

“This is natural as the private sector can’t run the risk,” Tatul Manaseryan said.

Dwelling on the outflow of capital from Armenia to neighboring countries, particularly to Georgia and Russia, the economist reported slowdown compared with 2010-2011 years.

“The decline totaled about 20-22% compared with 2011 according to our preliminary estimates,” he said.
