CERTAIN GERMAN POWER STRUCTURES FOR ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RECOGNITION
Certain German power structures are for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915, chairwoman of the Commission for Human Rights under the German government Claudia Rott stated when addressing the Turkish parliament, Financial Times reported. In her words, some circles in Germany are interested in raising the problem as it could postpone the discussion of Turkey's admission to the EU. At the same time, C. Rott underscored that German historians should conduct their own investigation of the events taken place in the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the last century.
