Uruguay’s FM says self-determination basic right of nations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh people must have right to self-determination, Uruguay's Foreign Minister said.

“Right to self-determination is the nation’s fundamental right. Uruguay respects and advocates international law,” Luis Almagro said during a joint conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

“It is committed to its statements, ready to bring them to life. Artsakh can determine its future due to right to self-determination. International community has repeatedly called for exclusively peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict,” he said.
