On May 4, a blast, caused by the explosion of helium balloons, occurred at Yerevan’s Republic Square. A rescue crew and an operative group from RA crisis management center were sent to the site. The blast in the Republic Square occurred during the concert organized on the sidelines of ruling Republican Party of Armenia electoral campaign. 154 people were hospitalized.
