Shirak province governor to face dismissal, paper reports

Governor of Shirak province Ashot Giziryan was offered to submit a resignation application to the government, Hayatsk paper reports.

However, the governor refuted this news. “I did not apply for resignation, and have no intention to do so either,” Giziryan declared.

Hayatsk reminds that rumors on his possible dismissal spread after the parliamentary elections, during which the governor failed to secure large-scale victory for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
