GM Hrant Melkumyan finishes 6th at Bosna 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bosna 2012 International Chess Tournament is over in Sarajevo.

Armenian grandmaster Hrant Melkumyan was defeated by Turkey’s Alexander Ipatov in the last 9th round of the tournament and came 6th with 5.5 points.

Viktor Erdos (Hungary) with 6.5 points took the lead in the tournament, with Mikhail Antipov (Russia) and Evgeny Postny (Israel) ranking 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

In 2011, Armenian chess player took the second place, with Georgia’s Baadur Jobava becoming tournament winner.
