Central Electoral Commission finalizes voting results

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia finalized the results of May 6 parliamentary vote at its May 13 special session and delivered a decision on election of the National Assembly deputies by proportional system.

In accordance with the decision, 28 seats in the new parliament are given to the Prosperous Armenia party, 5 to Heritage, 7 to opposition Armenian National Congress, 5 to ARF Dashnaktsutyun, 5 to Orinats Yerkir, while the ruling Republican Party of Armenia got 40.

CEC decision is basing on the protocols on the voting outcome, decisions on the received complaints and applications, decisions of the local electoral commissions on violations on the voting day, etc.
