TWO ARMENIAN SERVICEMEN WILL GO TO NATO CONFERENCE IN BAKU
The Armenian military intend to participate in the conference on planning the NATO exercises within the framework of the Partnership for Peace Program in Baku June 22. As Press Secretary of the Defense Ministry of Armenia Seyran Shahsuvarian told Armenpress agency, colonel Murad Isakhanian and officer of the Department of External Relations of the Armenian Defense Ministry, senior lieutenant Aram Hovhannisian will serve on the Armenian delegation. According to the source, June 21 the Armenian military intend to obtain entry visas to Azerbaijan in the Embassy of that country in Tbilisi. It should be reminded that the Azeri authorities had hampered participation of Armenian officers in the preliminary planning conference, also held in Baku. The NATO leadership insists on the participation of Armenian servicemen both in the preparatory conferences and exercises to be held in Azerbaijan this autumn.
