Cannes: Andy Garcia joins Vera Farmiga in “Admissions” romcomMay 18, 2012 - 17:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Anchor Bay Film has partnered with Andy Garcia’s CineSon productions for the upcoming romantic comedy “Admissions,” in a deal announced at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, The Wrap reported. Garcia and Vera Farmiga will star as two strangers who develop an extraordinary relationship in the course of a day. Farmiga portrays Edith, a mom accompanying her daughter on a college tour, while Garcia is George, joining his son on the same tour. Anchor Bay and CineSon released “City Island,” which Garcia starred in and produced. “As with ‘City Island,’ Anchor Bay shows its support of elegant material based in the human experience,” Garcia said in a statement. “Both as an actor and producer, I feel our film is in the best of hands and I am looking forward to once again collaborating with Bill Clark, Kevin Kasha and the talented Anchor Bay team.” Adam Rodgers will direct from a script he co-write with Glenn German.
